Before Publication of the TNCDBR, the Design and Plans of the High Rise Buildings were scrutinized by the panel constituted under the rule 15(2) of the Tamil Nadu Multi-storeyed and Public Building Rules 1973.
After publication of the TNCDBR-2019 in Tamil Nadu Government Gazette No.43, Part III-Section 1(a), dated 04.02.2019 the High Rise Buildings in all type of usage having height more than 18.30m from the Ground level to the top most level of the liveable floor is considered as High Rise Buildings.
High Rise Buildings in all type of usage has been scrutinized with the rule 39 of TNCDBR 2019, and discussed in the panel constituted in rule 39(26) of TNCDBR 2019. Suggestions or alterations if any recommended by the above HRB Panel has been incorporated in the plan to be approved by the Director of Town and Country Planning.
