STATE INFRASTRUCTURE AND AMENITIES PROMOTION COMMITTEE

 The State Infrastructure and Amenities Promotion Committee was created through G.O (Ms). No.215, Housing & Urban Development (UD4-1) Department, dated: 25.11.2009.The Committee headed by Secretary to the Government, Housing and Urban Development Department, Secretaries to the Government of Finance, Planning, Development & Special Initiatives, Municipal Administration & Water Supply, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, Vice-Chairman, Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority are members of the committee and Director of Town and Country Planning as its Member Secretary. Major Infrastructure projects implemented through various departments approved by the State I & A Promotion Committee and sanctioned by the Government.
